ABOUT HELEN

After completing a BA (Hons) in Fine Art, Helen continued her studies with a postgraduate qualification from St Martins College and a stained glass apprenticeship in Siena, Italy. Based in Wexford, Ireland, she has travelled and exhibited extensively.

Born in Northern Ireland, Helens career path has been influenced by the work of her late father, a well respected church architect. From that background she has created an extensive international portfolio of liturgical art, ranging from stained glass church windows, to mosaic art for walls, shrines, floors, baptismal fonts and Stations of the Cross. In her role as a liturgical art consultant and designer Helen has designed bronze and stone art for ambo, sculptural forms and carvings.

Alongside her liturgical art projects, she has completed an equally broad and diverse range of public and private art commissions in paint, stained glass and mosaic, installed in hospitals, schools, public venues and private buildings. Details on her recent awards and publications can be found on the Media page of this website.

If you are considering a project or commissioning a specific artwork, no matter how small or large, Helen would love to hear from you. She can be contacted directly through the contacts page on this site.
